Rosacea Types: Ocular Rosacea

Ocular rosacea is the result of an inflammation in the eyes. An ocular rosacea diagnosis may include symptoms such as crusting or scaling in the corner of the eyes, overall eye redness, itching or irritation in the eyes, a feeling of burning or the sensation of sand or grittiness in the eyes. It has been reported that as many as 60% of those who receive a diagnosis of rosacea will experience ocular rosacea symptoms.
